Getting Started
Tap Sign Up and continue with your email, phone number, Google, Apple, or Facebook account. If you sign up with email or phone, you'll set a password or verify a one-time code, then choose whether you're a Pet Owner or a Pet Business. After that, pick a username, add a profile photo, and you're in.
Pet Owners use Furiq to find and book services for their pets, message providers, and manage pet profiles. Pet Businesses publish services, accept bookings, take payments through Stripe, and manage their team and calendar. You select your account type during onboarding, and team members can be added to a business later.
Yes. A single Furiq login can own or work for one or more businesses while still having a personal pet-owner profile. Use the business switcher in Settings to move between businesses you belong to, or switch back to your personal view.
Browsing providers and creating an account are free. You only pay when you book a service — the price is set by each provider. Furiq adds a small service fee at checkout, which is shown before you confirm.
Furiq supports dog walking, pet sitting, drop-in visits, overnight boarding, daycare, grooming, training, and vet coordination. Available services depend on the providers near you and what each business offers — every listing shows the full menu and amenities.
Pet Profiles
Open your profile, tap Add Pet, and fill in the basics: name, species, breed, date of birth, and weight. You can also add a profile photo, cover photo, microchip ID, and a short bio. The more detail you share, the better providers can care for your pet.
You can add dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, small animals, reptiles, fish, and an Other option for anything else. There's no limit on how many pets you add — most providers will list which species they accept on their profile.
Yes. Each pet has space for veterinarian contact details, medical conditions, allergies, and insurance information. Sharing this with providers is optional and controlled by you — you choose what each booking partner can see.
Open the pet's profile and tap Edit to update any field, swap photos, or change privacy settings. To remove a pet, scroll to the bottom of the edit screen and choose Delete — this also removes the pet from any past bookings tied to your account.
Yes. You can list co-owners or caretakers on a pet's profile so that family members or sitters can see vet info and help manage bookings. Each person needs their own Furiq account.
Bookings
Search by service or browse the map for nearby providers. Open a listing to see pricing, availability, and reviews, then choose a date and time and confirm. Depending on the provider, your booking will either be instantly confirmed or sent for approval.
Some providers review each request before confirming. While your booking is in Pending Approval, no money is captured. Once the provider approves it, your payment is processed and the booking becomes confirmed. You'll get a notification at every step.
Yes — open the booking from the Bookings tab and tap Cancel or Reschedule. Each provider sets their own cancellation policy (full refund, partial refund, or no refund), and you'll see those terms before you confirm and again when you cancel.
If the provider cancels, you'll receive a full refund automatically — usually within 5–10 business days. We'll also surface alternative providers near you so you can rebook quickly if you need to.
Some providers ask for a reservation fee upfront, with the remaining balance due closer to the booking date. You'll see the deposit amount, the final amount, and when each is charged before you confirm. The reservation fee follows the provider's refund policy if you cancel.
Payments
Furiq accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, so your card details never touch our servers.
For pay-in-full bookings, your card is charged once the provider confirms. For deposit-based bookings, the reservation fee is taken at confirmation and the remaining balance is charged closer to the service date. Pending requests are authorized only — nothing is captured until the provider approves.
Go to Settings → Payment Methods to add a new card or delete an existing one. You can set a default card that will be used automatically at checkout.
Refunds follow the provider's cancellation policy: full refund, partial refund, or non-refundable. When eligible, refunds go back to your original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days. You can see refund status on the booking detail screen.
If a charge appears without a matching confirmed booking, the payment was likely an authorization that will drop off your statement automatically (usually within a few days). If you don't see it released, contact support and we'll investigate with Stripe directly.
Business
Sign up and choose Pet Business as your account type, or add a business from Settings on an existing account. You'll set your business name and location, build out your services, upload photos, and complete Stripe Connect onboarding so you can accept payouts.
Furiq takes a small percentage of each completed booking — there are no monthly fees, listing fees, or subscription costs. You only pay when you earn. Stripe processing fees apply on top, the same way they do for any card-based business.
Payouts go directly to the bank account you connect during Stripe Connect onboarding. New businesses have a 14-day initial payout delay; established accounts settle on a 7-day rolling schedule. You can review every transfer in the Earnings section of your business dashboard.
Use the business calendar to set your working hours, block time off, and adjust booking lead time and buffer between appointments. Each service can also have its own availability rules for more granular control.
Yes. A single business account can support multiple locations under one organization, and you can invite employees with role-based permissions to handle bookings, messages, and payments on your behalf. Use the business switcher to move between locations you manage.
Security
Furiq uses Supabase for authentication and stores sessions securely on your device (Keychain on iOS, encrypted storage on Android). Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant processor — your card numbers are never stored on Furiq servers.
Open Settings → Security → Change Password to update it from inside the app. If you're locked out, use the Forgot Password link on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a secure reset link.
Open the person's profile, tap the menu, and choose Block to stop all interactions, or Report to send the issue to our moderation team. You can report posts, messages, reviews, and conversations for spam, harassment, hate speech, impersonation, and more.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your account is scheduled for deletion and we keep a brief grace period in case you change your mind. After that window, your profile, pets, and personal data are permanently removed, except where we're legally required to keep records (like tax-related transaction history).
Change your password immediately and contact support. We can review recent sign-ins and bookings, sign other devices out of your account, and help you secure it. Enable biometric unlock in Settings → Security for an extra layer of protection.
